Looking for a new flatmate to share lovely two-bed flat just off Lordship Lane, East Dulwich from August until late January.

The flat is a spacious ex-council property in a well-maintained, quiet, clean block with good transport links to East Dulwich station, Peckham Rye and Forest Hill (10 mins or so on the bus).

It's a really comfortable place to live with a large kitchen diner, good size bedrooms and separate bathroom and toilet. There's also a balcony and permit-free parking outside. Bills are included in the price, ?675pcm.

I'm moving to Sydney for 6 months so looking for someone to take my room and share with my awesome flatmate. Location and landlord are both great.

Looking for someone who is clean, tidy and considerate and has their own life but enjoys a glass of wine after work. Get in touch if that's you!

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
