EDmummy Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Been a couple of years but remember 2 1/2 yr checks being with the paediatric GP and having to be booked. Ring your HV first or the practice and they will be able to tell you. I think they chase after those who may be at risk or who had difficult births etc but for everyone else it is a matter or contacting them and sorting it out. Sorry not much help! nunheadmum Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Not at the Forest Hill surgery but I found that the 2 year check wasn't taken very seriously at all - in fact the health visitor did it when she was visiting for my newborn.....even though my older daughter wasn't there!!!If you're happy with your child's progress, it may not be worth stressing about it too much...unless you're desperate for the books!
