Sue, GG along with some of the similar alternatives proposed in here are an MVNO, where MNO stands for mobile network operator, and where the V does not but should in my opinion stand for eVil! these Johnnycomelatelys are encouraged by regulators to camp on MNOs networks FOR THEIR OWN (referring to the MVNOs) PRIVATE gain, when they have made none of the financial investment to roll out the network themselves, Norwood have the expertise to maintain it should the MNOs be temporarily indisposed. In my view this is SHORT SIGHTED! it's akin to taking the cheap poor quality mass produced and imported merchandise instead of supporting local by buying LOCAL! That said, if you are minded to go with an MVNO, I would recommend avoiding using one whose marketing dept, and management are clearly so devoid of soul, taste or morals as "LIFE MOBILE". Giff Gaff would seem like a fine choose relatively, for benchmarked consumers.

Best

These places mostly all have the same deals available as rival competitors, assuming you're out of contract and are prepared to go through the charade of 'I'm leaving'.

Tell EE you want to move to Giff or Virgin and they'll 'suddenly' discover a deal which is virtually identical. (I'm on EE for ?5/month, same minutes and data as Virgin - only Virgin isn't 4G and EE is)

Asking for PAC code does the trick in the shortest possible time.

Actually it didn't work for me last time. I went through all the usual palaver but EE weren't able to give me as good a deal with the phone I wanted as an online contract.

I'm still with EE ie the EE network, but the contract is with mobiles direct online or something, don't have it to hand.

    • I’m broadly in agreement with you, Dogkennelhillbilly. But why the meme? It’s a very unfair representation of Sean Dyche, a man who to my knowledge has never engaged in any culture war bollocks. From his Wikipedia entry: Dyche features in an internet meme criticising modern trends in football, in which the phrase "utter woke nonsense" is attributed to him; he said "I wish I'd copyrighted it. Considering I didn’t actually say it, it does follow me around".
    • Whisky Macs, like Harvey's Bristol Cream and Cinzano Bianco & lemonade, are a taste of Christmas past sadly lost to many. A little Whisky Mac and icing sugar whisked through whipping cream makes a festive accompaniment to stollen or Christmas pudding.
    • Legal matters are notoriously slow.  There is no rule that communication has to be via email, fax or letter. If the issue is that you want to claim damages to the property because of poor practice, you would have to lodge a complaint with the ombudsman, but surely the one to suffer the most is the “gold digger” beneficiary?    If that is not the wrong that needs righting, what is?
    • We're looking for a second hand / ex display kitchen to install late November / early December. If anyone is renovating / getting a new kitchen in the next month and looking to sell on or get rid of their old units and appliances please do get in touch. Many thanks
