Hi Alice

We are selling our son's Cnoc 16 in Green (https://www.islabikes.co.uk/products/bikes/item/cnoc-16). Picture attached.

It is in very good condition with a couple of superficial chips and scratches that you expect from a kids bike. It has just been serviced by Brockley Bikes (I have the invoice from today) so has been checked over and given a clean bill of health by a professional mechanic.

They retail at ?260, so we are looking for ?160 and we will also include a spare inner tube. It is also on the Bike Register - so if you wish to proceed then we can transfer ownership.

You're welcome to come and have a look if you want (we are in Brockley).

Kind regards

Rick

    • Typically the way 'family run businesses' operate is either to have family members continue the business, or to sell on, either as a site (in this instance) or as a going concern. Either which way this is the way the owners create a 'pension' from the business. The number of suggestions as to alternatives makes me feel that the market for small repairing garages locally may be well served, so selling on the site makes the best financial sense for the owners. It's a sign not of the times but of normal business realities.
    • I agree it's a shame, but it is not a "sign of the times", unless you think that up to now people have never grown older and retired!
