Wedding outfit for boy (8 years) ?15

Recommended Posts

Hello

I'm offering a very smart outfit from Next, size 8 years boy consisting of pale blue shirt and navy blue tie with blue print, mid-grey trousers and waistcoat with faint check.

Also mid brown brogues from Next, size 2.

Also cream shirt and brown diagonal stripy tie (label says 4-5 but is completely wrong as my son wore it last year when he was 9! small 9 but still 9 years old).

?15 for the lot. photo shows my son wearing the cream shirt and brown tie with the waistcoat and trousers and shoes.

I'm on Upland Road.

    • Many thanks Jenijenjen, we had just come to tell people and see you are ahead of us! Thanks for that and we look forward to posting more Dulwich History. We also have a lot of info on our website here: https://www.dulwichsociety.com/local-history
    • Beigel is a Yiddish word which has been translated to bagel - beigel (specifically in Brick Lane) are traditional, denser, and chewier jewish style bread rings, often boiled and baked in wood-fired oven.  bagel is lighter, sweeter Americanised version   in my house you’ll get beigels!  Honest is a much better restaurant than Gourmet. Quality of the produce is higher quality.
    • The original post was made by someone else, not the person whose post I was replying to! And the original post only mentioned Whateley Road (which has been clear of leaves whenever I have walked down it) and another unspecified road. My question was directed at CPR Dave, who (as was clear in the post I quoted)  said "The streets round here are a disgrace".
