Recommended Posts

We are selling our lovely McIntosh sideboard. It measures 202cm wide 77cms high and 46 cm deep.

It comprises of:-

3 drawers (top one originally for cutlery- image shows original red lining)the other 2 drawers are a good size and not have any dividers.

A large middle double cupboard (shown in images)with shelf to one side.

A pull down door (original drinks cabinet) in the third section. There is even a drink preparation tray that pulls out.

Really cool handles and beautiful leg shape, perfect for any modern, stylish home.

The wood is in good condition, just marked/lightly scratched in a very superficial way and expected for a unit of it's age.

You will need appropriate sized vehicle to pick up 5 mins from Peckham Rye station

    • My perspective is the same as yours Sue.   Biggest issue is toad rage when I cycle, mainly drivers but once a Line bike rider I expect coked up.  But even that is rare
    • I'm interested to know other people's experiences. As in any urban environment, I'm careful. I try not to use my phone outside  unnecessarily, and if I'm coming home by myself  late at night I also keep an eye out for any potential threats. But that doesn't mean  I "don't feel safe". It's just sensible. The only time I have ever felt seriously unsafe in London was decades ago  when I was a teenager, and that was one specific incident which could have happened anywhere. I do however try to avoid places with loads of right wing thugs getting drunk and waving flags.
    • I'm genuinely sorry if I have derailed this thread, which started off as being about a specific burglary in Lacon Road. I will start another thread in the lounge, because I think the general points being discussed are important.
