Some questions for you...

Want a good excuse to walk more? (Who wouldn?t, it is great for you!)

Do you like to explore?

Do you enjoy ?capture the flag? games? Or Geocaching? Or both?!

If the answer is yes to any of the above (for yourself or anyone you know), then I can recommend trying a game played by millions across the world called ?Ingress? (ingress.com) - you can download and play it for free for your Android or iOS phone.

Reviews...(https://www.quora.com/What-is-your-review-of-Ingress)

It has been going for a few years and has great reviews, such as this:

?I'm definitely not a "gamer" but I find Ingress completely captivating. The teamwork aspect makes it really fun, and the fact that it's played in the REAL world is (pardon the pun) a game-changer. Since I started playing Ingress a month ago, I've spent a great many hours walking around my city and getting to know places I'd never seen before.?

Reasons to play...

Personally, I love it - it encourages a good walk as you go to capture the flags (portals) based on points of public interest; I?ve met so many lovely people and made good friends; it?s given me an excuse to go for a walk at lunchtime, I?ve lost weight, and I?ve just had a lot of fun.

Perfect too if you have to move around a lot as part of your daily life.

Commute on a bus? It makes the commute shoot by.

Walk a dog? Brilliant. You?ll want to go for epic treks!

Push a pram? My friend was always volunteering to go and take the baby for a long stroll :)

Cycle or drive around? Adds an extra dimension to the journey!

Travel nationally or internationally? You?ll have new friends all over country and world!

Families play it together too.

Give it a try, I hope you?ll enjoy it too, or suggest it to someone who you think might like it.

There are two sides to choose from, and right now the green team (called ?The Enlightened?) could really, really do with your help! We?re a friendly, social bunch (who can often be found in pubs when not moving around) and we?re more than happy to help!

Best wishes.

James

Hi Sue, this is a very global game - sorry if I gave the impression that this is London only - just wanted to give some focus.

In fact, there are loads of events organised all around the world that people travel to. The game encourages exploring, whether it is your street or your town or the world!

The game can be played very local but can get MASSIVE :)

    • I can't recommend Leon too highly.  He provides a first-rate service.  He's friendly but also professional.  He sorted out my extractor fan which  was running incessantly because another electrician had bodged it. At the same time he saved me buying a new shaver unit which had stopped working when the extractor wouldn't stop running. He was also uncomplaining about having to to go up and down 3 flights of stairs between the bathroom and the electrical power unit. He will definitely be my first port of call for any future electrical issues.  His contact number is: 07707 925039.
    • Leave it white .the buyer will already have a vision of what they want.
    • of course most people would avoid the "stupid" term - but I'm sticking with it fact is no other European would be so dumb, and even with the same information, the  same media, the same everything, 2 of the countries within the UK saw ho stupid an idea it was - but only the English (who played a large part in the Welsh result) pushed ahead - there is something defiantly arrogant and stupid and it isn't just down to bad info and bad leadership But that was all 2016 - it's people in 2025 who claim it to be a good idea executed badly who are especially stupid Now - does calling people stupid help anyone? It's not especially politically gainful and just gets peoples' backs up - but it remains a truth and only when the country as a whole genuinely holds it's hands up and admits the stupidity (rather than downplaying it as a poor decision - no shade meant Mal - you are just nicer and politer than me) will it begin. to turn the tide Also worth mentioning that yes I am as intractable and blunt with friends and family who voted Leave as well - this isn't me hiding behind some online anonymous account. This is what I'm like
    • Hello My name is Lizzie and I work locally as a dog walker and nanny. I won’t be needed over Summer so will have full availability for a dogsitting job. I have a DBS certificate and will provide several dogsitting references as well. Please note that I can only watch your pet at your home since they are sadly not allowed in my flat! Looking forward to hear from you
