Recommendation for Dave & team from BD decorators

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to post a recommendation for Dave and his team from BD decorators. They have just completed work on the exterior of our house. We have a pebble-dashed front but didn't want to take it off for fear of what we might uncover. Dave gave us an excellent quote to have the entire front painted, new guttering, pebbledash taken off the bay window columns, rendering of under the sill. Dave was very easy to work with and able to get us any brand paint we wanted colour matched to help reduce cost. We had both Joe and Keith come and do the work. Both were very pleasant, showed up early and put in long hours to get the job done. Both very tidy and happy to accommodate extra jobs that cropped up along the way. Very very happy with the result and would definitely recommend them. We will be using them again as they can cover a huge range of needs from carpentry, electrics, decorating etc.If anyone would like to see photos i have before and after ones available. • Is it just me, or are some of the cars around East Dulwich now roughly the size of a modest one-bed flat? Our lovely Victorian streets were designed for horses, carts and the occasional penny-farthing — not rolling apartment blocks on wheels. Earlier today someone tried to pass me while driving squarely down the middle of the road, seemingly too terrified to move over in case their wing mirror brushed a leaf. We ended up in a sort of slow-motion standoff that felt less “road sharing” and more “Wild West showdown”. I completely understand wanting a safe, comfy car — but when the vehicle is wider than the street and both drivers need a deep breathing exercise just to squeeze past each other, it might be time to ask whether the car fits the postcode. Maybe we need Victorian-era width limits reinstated… or complimentary tape measures issued with every CPZ permit? 😉
