Family wanted for nanny share starting Sept

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am going back to work in September and we are looking for a family to join a nanny sharing arrangement with us. This is our first child, she will be 11 months. Looking for a similar age, or even a little older to join with us. We are looking for and speaking to several nannies already, so we will need to sort contracts, tax etc. Would be amazing to join an existing share and avoid the admin but happy to work on setting this up.

I will be at home 1 day a week (Wednesday) and looking for care from 7.30/8am to 6/6.30pm. My husband may also potentially be at home one day though we are still in discussions on this.

We are based on the Forest Hill side of East Dulwich, closer to the Horniman.

    • As the days shorten having evening fireworks for e.g. birthday parties becomes more realistic, the idea that fireworks is only about Guy Fawkes day or New Year's Eve is not a rule. I personally do not like fireworks, but other do, and I would see no reason to stop other's pleasure. I am sure the local Puritans will object, and there are issues about disturbing wild life with unexpected noise. But I'm in favour of simple pleasures. And many do like fireworks.
    • That's great you have the cat! Sorry to interfere, and feel free to ignore this, but it might not be a great idea to post your mobile number on a public forum? You can message the owner on the forum via a private message.

    • Most churches rent out halls for children's' parties but rarely adult parties, Christ Church only does afternoon parties,   The East Dulwich Community centre hires out halls to 9 pm only and all music needs to be on a sound restrictor as is in a residential area. St Johns with St Clements have a small hall but not sure if they allow adult parties. Nunhead Green has a newish community centre with a couple of different size halls. Most places seem to charge around £40 ph  with a deposit of £100/200 (returned if no damage or excess cleaning needed.
