Hi there,

I am helping St.Christopher's Hospice (two charity shops based on Lordship Lane) to drive up numbers for their big event the 50:50 London to Paris Cycle, which will be celebrating St Christopher?s Hospice?s 50th birthday next year.

St Christopher?s is facing an ever increasing demand for specialised end of life care and with only a third of their costs being paid by the NHS it is essential to maximise fundraising efforts. St.Christopher's would not be able to provide their vital services, free of charge, to those patients and their families in desperate need of care without the support of people like you in our local community.

Two hospices, one based in Sydenham and the other based in Bromley, they provide expert care in end of life support.

For more details please either private message me or contact Remi Knight [email protected] 0208 768 4577 alternatively always come visit us in either shops on Lordship Lane.

Thanks :)

Cass

    • Found debit card on Colyton Road - around 5:30pm. PM with your name and the last 4 digits of the card number if you think it might be yours.  Reported to the bank who asked me to shred it. If you are the owner, they'll send a new one in the post
    • Yet to use it for a big parcel, but worth a try!
    • This guy was found running loose on the common, up at the Colyton Road end. He was being quite over zealous with other dogs, causing a bit of mayhem. No collar, we think he might be a pup who's escaped. If he's yours, PM me and I can put you in touch with a kind young couple who got a lead on him and have put shout-outs on the local dog whatsapp groups.  If you are the parents of any of the young lads in school uniform, who were helping me as I tried to stop a fight kicking off between this chap and my dog, please tell your sons thank you. I really thought it was going to get nasty and I didn't get the chance to thank the boys - particularly the blonde one - who were helping me. He was being very brave as I crumbled.    The dog's owner has now been found. But hopefully the parents of the young lads will see this post.
