Scaffolding needed for 3rd floor double glazing?

I am currently getting quotes for double glazing for my 3rd floor flat in SE22. Two large suppliers/installers have said I need scaffolding and have quoted for it. Another smaller company has said they can install the windows from the inside, making the quote much lower. I'm not sure what to do. One of my windows is a large structural bay and I am wondering if it will be harder to do a good job if all done from the inside. I wonder if anyone knows whether installing windows from the inside in a 3rd floor property is a bad or good idea and whether there are any risks? Very grateful for your advice.

Hi

I had to have scaffolding I did it with Everest small company said they could do it from inside but the trouble with that if the fitters drop and injury someone then you are responsible for this if they say this is not the case make sure you check there insurance cover and get a copy as a friend of a friend had this happen to her

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
