Dr Bike will fix your bike for free July 7th

Recommended Posts

The Bike Doctor will be in his favourite spot under Peckham Arch from 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday night, mending tyres, indexing gears, fixing brakes and offering wisdom on all things bike. He brings his spanners, a large quantity of mysterious implements and a limitless knowledge of things bike.

With him will be his usual band of knowledgeable helpers and their pile of maps and leaflets offered with a helping of gossip and chat. Let them index your gears, oil your chain, fix your tyres, tighten your brakes and offer you wise advice. If you bring parts they will fit them. All totally free.

    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
    • I'm sorry to learn that though Liam does seems well qualified. Hopefully with McAsh gone, Southwark Labour will turn to Charlie to fill the gap.
    • As I understand it Charlie Smith did put himself forward for selection in GG but Labour members chose someone else to represent them, Liam McGrath https://southwarklabour.com/our-candidates/   It'll be interesting to see if there are other defections - surely the Greens want a drip, drip, drip of news from now to May suggesting the momentum is with them.
    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
