Childminder or Nanny Share wanted Aug/Sept start

Recommended Posts

Hello

Our lovely nanny is leaving us in August and we are looking for a new set up. I have a 17 month old girl and will be looking for her to be cared for in someone else's home as we are expecting a baby in October and keen to get her settled in a new routine before hand.

We are flexible with which days but would prefer 3 days a week and open to whether its a nanny share or childminder set up, we just need to find the right match.

We live by Peckham Rye park near to East dulwich and as I don't drive it would need to be relatively near by.

Please PM me if you are interested in the role/have a vacancy or would like to go in on the nanny share with us.

Thanks

Nicola

    • Considering the private revision study that my children undertook, perhaps 15 to 20 years ago in that library it seems a shame they have timed the refurbishment so it won't be open at this crucial time for children. But hey, so long as it's greener...
    • Enforcement costs money which I doubt the fines actually pay for. Presumably it hasn't been a priority.

    • Per Cllr McAsh, as quoted above: “We are currently updating our Enforcement Policy and changes will allow for the issuing of civil penalties ranging from £175 to £300 for visible smoke emissions, replacing the previous reliance on criminal prosecution. " Is anyone au fait with the Clean Air Act 1993, and  particularly with the state of 'Smoke Control' law and practice generally?  I've just been looking  through some of it for the first time and, afaics, the civil penalties mentioned  were introduced into the Clean Air Act, at Schedule 1A, in May 2022.  So it seems that, in this particular,  it's a matter of the enforcement policy trailing well behind the legislation.  I'm not criticising that at all, but am curious.
