While being aware of the cost implications of any building work, I've always thought it'd be nice to have a path running along the periphery of GG, so people hoping for a wee promenade (i.e. child and dog owners, or just those wanting a stroll/jog) could have a bit more of an expanse to do so without being in anyone's way, and then people in a hurry/on a mission could use the shortcut diagonal paths. But that's just me!
