Stolen Motorbike on Solway Road

Anyone seen my motorbike!!

Can't believe it was taken about 4am last nite outside my house on Solway Road. It was a Green and black KTM Duke motorbike. One of my neighbours saw a van take off about 4am but of course wasn't aware they had taken the bike. If you have seen it dumped anywhere, please let me know.

Sorry to say if it's gone in a van then I'd be surprised if it's dumped, that's more forced ignition joy rider kids territory. Hope I'm wrong though and will keep an eye out.

It will be stripped by now or sitting in a container om Rainham Marshes waiting to be shipped off Im afraid - Just get the insurance claim started asap.

I am so sorry to read this.

MrPR had a rare bike nicked a few years ago from Rotherhithe - and after he got the appalling compensation from CaroleNashWasteOfSpace - it was found, when some eagle eyed member of TheLondonBikers.com reported seeing a garage door open (near Rotherhithe) which had a heap of bikes in it. Police made enquiries and found a heap of bikes. Of course by this time MrPR's recovered bike was now owned by CaroleNash.

Just to let you all know, we received a call from the police who found my bike abandoned in Thamesmead. I collected it late last nite, damaged but rideable. Its now safe and hidden away for the time being, I'm happy now!!!!

Great news. I'm guessing it's been dropped and had its locks hacked at, as mine was when it was nicked and recovered a couple of years ago. Sounds like opportunists walking it away, rather than that van your neighbours heard too.
