Boxing sessions for kids/teens - discipline and hard-work!

Recommended Posts

Young Champs Boxing -

I am a local trainer and boxer of 10 years based in SE22. I regularly host 2 classes a week for kids as well as teens, these are strictly non-competitive classes, only intended for discipline, exercise and the art of teaching self-defense. I have a CRB, now called DBS certificate and I also work with various schools.

Classes for kids aged 5-10 are ?10 for a comprehensive hour session, Fridays and Sundays.

Classes for olders kids and teens aged 11-16 are also ?10 for a comprehensive hour session, Fridays and Sundays.

I also provide 1 on 1 training for those who want more focused training regimes, and for those who want to train competitively, these are ?20 for an hour and a half. All equipment can be provided if required, parents are welcomed to watch and observe training sessions.

All youngsters need goals, incentives and discipline and I am aiming to provide all of that for our local communities. Large group sessions will be held in ad-hoc training halls in surrounding areas, everything is funded by myself as I am completely self-dependent!

    • @Sue - try this one to see the proposed bus stops. Everything after the question mark in the original is tracking code and sometimes they fall over. Also Amazon Web Hosting (which seems to host the document for TfL) has been wobbly today. https://ehq-production-europe.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ce32459998ce01d44ce27d1f23c543bd84338c82/original/1759936980/3bc1b1bf3ec42ce77542fa4ddd82c87a_sl15-bus-stop-list.pdf   It's an express service so the only Dulwich relevant stops seem to be: *  Tulse Hill Hotel for Tulse Hill * West Dulwich * Wood Vale/Lordship Lane * Forest Hill
    • It will be useful from time to time particularly getting to west Dulwich.  Be interesting how quick to Clapham Junction, Vs train or bus and train.
    • mnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, yes it does work Sue. Hover your mouse over the provided link below and press your LEFT mouse button.  https://ehq-production-europe.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ce32459998ce01d44ce27d1f23c543bd84338c82/original/1759936980/3bc1b1bf3ec42ce77542fa4ddd82c87a_sl15-bus-stop-list.pdf?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=AKIA4KKNQAKIJHZMYNPA%2F20251020%2Feu-west-1%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20251020T144535Z&X-Amz-Expires=300&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&X-Amz-Signature=14b917ef1198ddc641578b5a6648b00842f4e1d51aceadb3f4e1c928d0688b12
    • https://airqualitynews.com/health/pm2-5-hitches-a-lift-on-red-blood-cells-to-spread-through-the-body/ looks like a good readable brief summary.  There are others available. His team have produced an impressive  number of papers over the last few years.   The mention of personal differences in clearing of absorbed particles sounds particularly interesting and I look forward to seeing more research on that topic.
