We are selling our lovely old girl - Dolly. We are selling because we live between the UK and New Zealand and don't want to put her in storage again and someone might as well get the most out of whats left of summer.

Price ?8,500 ONO

Mileage 108,284 - shes has been well maintain by East Dulwich campers who specialise in this type of van and reportedly has a great engine and plenty left in her.

Its petrol and feels really economical.

Usual surface rust under some of the sills and a dent where she was side swiped, nothing of significance and we have had a quote of ?500 to get all rust and dint removed. She needs a little TLC or can just be used as we have for the past 4 years. Its been down to the South of France and all about UK, particularly Cornwall in the last few years and clips along the motorway so you get the relaxed holiday travel but not too slow! We've had much older campers and have enjoyed being able to get further into the sun faster:-)

List of things

TOAD immoboliser/alarm - helps keep insurance down

Groovy retro roof rack

Poptop - no leaks and mesh window for the hot nights.

Bike rack (2 bikes)

Rock n roll bed sleeps 2 comfortably and you could do the bunk thing we just haven't bothered, taken a tent if we have others

Has seat belts in the back as well, one needs fixed I think

Cupboards with a pump sink, cool box

Everything you need to go camping, 2 cookers, little table and chairs etc can leave or take the things people do and don't want- essentially we get in her and drive off.

Captains chair on passenger side

Wind breaks

Stereo and DVD with a little screen and a connector for your phone, speakers back and front

Its tidy and fun. Please see photos if you are interested come and have a look she is a great van and we will be sad to let her go. Please PM to arrange or if you have any questions or want more pics- I'm not sure what I've missed.

Thanks

    • Ha! After I posted this, I thought of lots more examples. Screwfix and the hardware store? Mrs Robinson and Jumping Bean? Chemists, plant shops, hairdressers...  the list goes on... it's good to have healthy competition  Ooooh! Two cheese shops
    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
    • Moving into a new place and need both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, ideally collection Friday. Thanks!
    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
