Join artists WordPlay & Amy Pennington at Sceaux Gardens tomorrow (3rd August)1pm-5pm behind the South London Gallery to celebrate Play Day 2016 - a national celebration of children?s right to play and the importance of play in children?s lives.

The theme is freedom of speech, and the children will get the chance to create and bury an audio time capsule - recording lots of different message to their future selves!

  The street directory is on Ancestry and you'll need a subscription to access. It's reasonably easy to navigate though you have to find the page you're looking for by a combination of trial and error/guesswork. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/61265/images/47056_263021009499_1592-00159?usePUB=true&_phsrc=Soz1793 There is though also a general search page for London directories where the street name can be entered in the keyword field and results will take you to the specific pages. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/61265/
