A good decorator needed to redecorate a 1 bedroom flat in East Dulwich starting 1 September and finishing in Wednesday 7 September.


1. Bathroom

- preparing ceiling by filling in holes, cracks etc.

- preparing woodwork (door and door frame) by sanding it, filling in holes, cracks etc.

- painting ceilings 3 coats of silk emulsion

- painting woodwork ? top coat


2. Storage/utility

- preparing walls by filling in holes cracks etc.

- painting walls - 3 coats of silk emulsion


3. Kitchen

- preparing walls and ceilings by filling in holes cracks etc.

- preparing woodwork (door, door frame and skirtings) by sanding it, filling in holes, cracks etc.

- painting ceiling and walls - 3 coats of silk emulsion

- painting woodwork ? top coat



4. Staircase

- preparing walls and ceiling by filling in holes cracks etc.

- preparing woodwork (doors, skirtings, balusters) by sanding it, filling in holes, cracks etc.

- painting ceilings and walls ? 3 coats of silk emulsion

- painting woodwork ? top coat



5. Living room

- preparing walls and ceiling by filling in holes cracks etc.

- preparing woodwork (door, skirtings, window frames, shalves) by sanding it, filling in holes, cracks etc.

- painting ceilings and walls ? 3 coats of silk emulsion

- painting woodwork ? top coat


6. Bedroom

- preparing walls and ceiling by filling in holes cracks etc.

- preparing woodwork (door, skirtings) by sanding it, filling in holes, cracks etc.

- painting ceilings and walls ? 3 coats of emulsion

- painting woodwork ? top coat

      Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞

      Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.

      This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
