Small carpentry job- asap

Hello- we need a small amount taken off 2 doors to get them to fit over a new carpet. Slightly embarassed to ask someone to do this as it's such a small job, but don't want to mess it up! Would help if you could re hang doors too.

We have guests coming on Friday so need it done before then.

  Get it done properly with an RSJ at ceiling height. Otherwise you will have issues when you sell it. I'd rather the house we are in hadn't had it taken out, both due to the above and the room is poorer for it. If you are a terrace or semi then only one side can have their breast taken out. AI suggests £3.5 to £5k and the need to get a structural report. You will probably need approval under building regs and a party wall agreement with your neighbour.
