Nanny Wanted

Recommended Posts

We are looking for an experienced nanny for our 5yr old daughter and 2.5yr old son, and can offer approx. 30-35hrs structured across 3 or 4 days per week.

We are looking for someone patient, kind and fun-loving who will really bond with our children and take a continued interest in their development and work alongside us to ensure they stay happy, confident and outgoing.

Ideally you'd be able to be flexible about hours and be able to do occasional babysitting evenings or weekends.

We are an English/Danish family in SE26 (8mins walk from Sydenham Hill station), our garden borders on Dulwich Woods with lots of opportunity for outdoor play.

If the above sounds of interest, please PM

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
