The Rosendale Pub

Not quite in East Dulwich, but hey. Avoid this one on Rosendale Road. We tried to go last week and yet another very disappointing experience. No-one behind the bar when we went in and after 10 minutes of being ignored by 3 different staff members (busy with paper-work, clearing tables, not much) we went home and saved ?40. The pub wasn't busy, but there seems to be a lack of interest in their customers. At ?6+ for a starter and ?10+ for a main (this is bar, not restaurant) they should really do much better. Perhaps lack of competition locally is making them lazy. We were giving it another chance after a visit 3 months ago when we were again ignored in an empty restuarant in favour of a private function upstairs. Go to INDIGO down the road instead - food is brilliant.
