soren
I am selling my Peugeot Etoile (check pics) due to leaving the UK soon. It has accompanied me all through London never letting me down for the past 2 plus years. As you can see in the pics, it is a beautiful bike. White and metallic blue frame. Attention to detail is amazing, as a proper classic French bike. Mechanically it is a killer. Lightweight HLE frame, with joints elegantly brazed. Shimano Excage Brake levers Weinmann Alpha brakes . Simplex down tube gear shifters Simplex front and rear derailleurs 12 speeds Metal cage pedals weight: 12.01 kg The bike is and feels very light. It is super fast and the double crank set provides a very sensible gearing so you can climb any hill. Rare medium 56cm size frame. Would fit someone between say 5ft8" and 6ft All in all, a great vintage bike. Good looking, fast and in very good condition. Bad points? Some scratches on the frame and worn seat, but you would expect that from a 25 years old machine. It could do with a servicing, hence the cheap price. Overall it is in amazing condition for age.
