Starfish Greathearts Foundation has places available in the London to Brighton cycle race on Sunday 11th September 2016! This is a fantastic 54 mile ride down to the south coast. Starting on Clapham Common, you will enjoy a scenic route to the seaside and a delicious lunch to refuel your energy at the half way point in Turners Hill.

This race is perfect for cyclists of all abilities, as the spirit of the event is ?taking part? not ?winning?. All you need to do is pledge to raise ?100 to the Starfish Greathearts Foundation, and help give life, hope & opportunity to children affected by AIDS in South Africa.

We will help you to become a star by providing the following:

? Fundraising pack, including sponsorship forms

? Ongoing support and pre-event information

? A free Starfish branded cycle jersey

? Cheering support on the event day and finish line refreshments

Registration for this event closes on Friday 2nd September, and there is a registration fee of ?40. To sign up, or for more information, please call 02075973797 or email [email protected]

We would appreciate it if you could share this information with fellow cyclists and friends that might be interested.

We look forward to welcoming you to the team!

    • I don't really see the issue.  It's taking  up a small part of Goose Green.  I was able to happily eat my lunch there today witthout the fair impinging on my space or enjoyment. I presume they have chosen that location as it is near the playground, so parents with young children often go there at the weekend. • Here you go again trying to twist things saying I made personal saying I don't feel safe, but it's you firing and demanding answers, you're not the police and nor are you a moderator. No its not a reasonable question, nor is saying I should go live somewhere else.  You have a habit on here of "demanding" answers, not on.
    • Please pm if interested.    thanks
    • Is this a popular event? If great demand for this sort of event on such a small space then so be it. It is just with Peckham Common so very close by just wondering why this is considered a preferable venue for this kind of thing?
