Looking to set up new nanny share in Herne Hill

Recommended Posts

Hello families! We are coming to the end of our lovely nanny share and are looking to set up a new one over the coming months. We are looking for a family to join our two boys for three days a week in Herne Hill. Nanny shares are great for reducing the cost of childcare but fundamentally they are so much fun for the children - we have done two shares previously and both have gone so well and the children are still good friends and have play dates all the time. Apparently they are fun for the nanny too!

Who are we? We have two boys, 5 and 3 who go to the local school 400M from our house. We like park fun, lego, Octonauts, camping and playing in our garden and playroom.

Who we are looking for? Do you have a baby or preschool child looking for full day care three days a week? We would offer a traditional nanny share arrangement so you get sole care of your child / children during the day and we would join in in the morning and afternoon and full time in the holidays, basically it works out as we pay 40% of the nanny's wage and you pay 60%. Dependent on what we agree. Works out very well if you have two children needing care.

We are looking for a long term arrangement to have consistency for the children, so are looking for a great family that want to find the ideal care for their child / children. Once we find a family we would all interview nannies together to find the right one for everyone.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

T and J

    • I would suggest ED, particularly the top ends of Upland and Friern Road, where the two roads meet. It's a no through road so basically makes it semi-private with no through traffic other than cyclists. The gardens are larger than your typical ED gardens, you are 1 minute to Peckham Rye park which is a great outside space with 2 great playgrounds and a decent coffee shop, plus the frequent busses up/down Rye Lane (12,197, 63 and 363) can get you to Peckham station in less than 10mins. On top of that you are only 5-7mins walk from Lordship Lane and all that has to offer, plus can easily get to Peckham for its fantastic restaurants (the best in South London) and bars.  You can get to the Dulwich schools driving or on the P13 bus at the end of the road. Or if it's nice weather, walk/bus up Barry Road and then a quick stroll through Dulwich Park.  You probably wouldn't need to pay your top budget either! But could do if you got one of the villas on Rye Lane itself.
