Door to door scam- lady asking for money.

I have recently been tricked by a lady asking for money at my front door. She says she lives across the road and is out of electricity and needs to borrow some cash till the evening. She is dressed smartly and is very covincing. I have seen plenty of people on this forum have also had her at their front door.

I was recently with a group of 6 friends all living in Camberwell, Peckham and Dulwich. We realised that she had visited 4 of us and had managed to take ?40 from just our small group alone!

Point is she is prolific and an expert con woman. So be aware.
