krosfyah
Is Burgess Park and Europes largest Latin American carnival on the radar of most East Dulwichians radars? SeanMacGabhann
half-wanted to but the combination of lunchtime beer sin Devon, long cross country journey, 12 bus chucking us off early, the heat, and our baggage conspired against us. It look well busy and happening tho Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1205-who-went-to-carnaval-del-pueblo-on-sunday/#findComment-31383 Share on other sites
bald marauder
!Por supuesto! We lounged around on the grass, sampled various (mostly Mexican) cuisine, and generally enjoyed soaking up the sights and sounds. Had to get baby M home for bathtime, so missed the evening's events, but we had a great day out.BMPS: The food at those stalls is so much better and more authentic than any 'proper' latin american restaurants I've tried in London - those guys should open up their own space. Especially since we went to wahaca on Saturday (new poncey Mexican restaurant near charing cross) and it wasn't nearly as good as the carnival...PPS: Maybe they could run the new Peckham Rye Park Cafe?!
