Part time nanny required South East London

We are a family looking for a live-out nanny to take sole charge of our baby son, who will be aged 13 months, on a part-time basis from November 2016. The nanny will be required to work 2.5 or 3 days a week and be willing to be part of a nanny share with another family in the locality (yet to be identified). There is some flexibility as to the exact hours / working pattern of days at this time. For the first month the nanny will only be needed for 2 days a week, and there will be a 2 week holiday over the Christmas period. From January the full hours will be available.

The nanny needs to be Ofsted registered or willing to become registered.

We are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys children and is thoughtful and sensitive about how a child sees and experiences their world. We are looking for a patient, creative, responsible and caring individual with experience, but who can also work flexibly to fit in with the individual needs of the child in their care. The nanny must be able to provide a warm and safe relationship for children, to have a sense of fun and enjoy the outdoors. We would like our child to be taken to activities where he can socialise with other children. Being able to prepare healthy food is important.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you are interested in the position.

    • Good timing. I've just posted this review: https://open.substack.com/pub/eatsdulwich/p/restaurant-review-sweet-dreams?r=8oe6m&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true
    • recently moved to East Dulwich, Have tried Hong Hong but that's it, whats the best chinese??
    • I would suggest ED, particularly the top ends of Upland and Friern Road, where the two roads meet. It's a no through road so basically makes it semi-private with no through traffic other than cyclists. The gardens are larger than your typical ED gardens, you are 1 minute to Peckham Rye park which is a great outside space with 2 great playgrounds and a decent coffee shop, plus the frequent busses up/down Rye Lane (12,197, 63 and 363) can get you to Peckham station in less than 10mins. On top of that you are only 5-7mins walk from Lordship Lane and all that has to offer, plus can easily get to Peckham for its fantastic restaurants (the best in South London) and bars.  You can get to the Dulwich schools driving or on the P13 bus at the end of the road. Or if it's nice weather, walk/bus up Barry Road and then a quick stroll through Dulwich Park.  You probably wouldn't need to pay your top budget either! But could do if you got one of the villas on Rye Lane itself.
