Childminder/Nanny needed starting immediately

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am looking for someone lovely to help with the following childcare provisions for one very sweet and lovable boy who turns 4 at end of the year.

We live in Nunhead.

WEEKLY

From Sept 19th I need someone to collect him from Ivydale nursery school on Monday's and Tuesdays at 1530 walk him home to our flat, or take him to a park then teatime, chill out till I get home from work approx 1900

On Wednesdays and Thursdays I need care from 1700 on both days at our home so tea-time play/chill bedtime cover - occasionally I have to work late.

Timeliness is a key factor given the nursery pick ups and there's a work commitment on Weds and Thurs from his father so 1700 needs to be adhered too given or take the odd minute :)

Apart from that we are a very relaxed happy family and son is very sociable bonds well with new people, has attended nursery from an early age and is biddable!

I need care this week and next at different times so anyone interested pls PM me your number and I'll call and discuss.

We generally provide nice pizza or meals for anyone caring for son around teatime and if it's ever later a car home.

Many thanks

    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
    • Could East Dulwich or Forest Hill work? Some properties on Underhill Road and Wood Vale have large gardens e.g.  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/161079866#/?channel=RES_BUY  You'd be close to the Horniman, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Transport might not be what you're looking for though e.g. a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill station for the East London line or mainline into London Bridge.
    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
