It's time to find your Dirndl and Lederhose! The Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday 17/9/16 from 5pm onwards in the Dietrich-Bonhoeffer Church (50 Dacres Road, SE23 2NR). It is a family-friendly event. There will be some children's entertainment, German beer and sausages, music and dance. Entrance fee: adults: ?4, Children: ?2 or Families: ?10. Come along, have some fun and dance the night away!

  Most countries charge for entry to museums and galleries, often a different rate for locals (tax payers) and foreign nationals. The National Gallery could do this, also places like the Museums in South Kensington, the British Library and other tax-funded institutions. Many cities abroad add a tourist tax to hotel bills. It means tourists help pay for public services.
