Pet sitter - highly recommended

Hi,

I'd like to highly recommend a pet sitter - Ricky aka The Pet Manny.

I was recommended him by a friend to sit my 2 cats, both of which are rescue cats and can still be a little scared of new people. It was my first time leaving them for more than a few days but as soon as I met Ricky I knew they'd be in good hands. He's very friendly, incredibly professional (has various forms for you to sign and relevant insurance paperwork etc) and my small cat took to him straight away (the larger one got more comfortable as he got to know her). He obviously loves his job and all the animals he looks after! I felt completely safe giving him my keys and knew he'd also look after my house. He sends you updates and photo's of your animals while your away so you can see they're ok - I'm sure you can opt out of this if you want to also!

Anyway he's a lovely guy and I can't recommend him enough.

For more information you can have a look at his website http://www.thepetmanny.co.uk and his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/thepetmannyUK/ where there are some reviews. He does dogs, rabbits and various other animals too.

His number is 07808167620

Hope this is helpful

Lucy

    • Agree that councils were not allowed to plough back housing revenue to create or improve stock. Young people especially, if they are lucky to have a decent job salary wise, find it impossible almost to find rented accommodation which is in a reasonable condition. We have a family member who is sharing a 3 bed ex council flat in Kings Cross area and are paying £2,500 pm between the 4 of them plus all utilities.
    • It wasn’t that long ago that Southwark planted a strip of seed bearing plants specifically for birds. It was parallel to Peckham Rye by the Harris Boys’ school. Naturally, it has disappeared courtesy of Gala.
    • Silly comment.  Read the attachment.  Or go to i-player and watch Winterwatch: https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/documentaries/winterwatch-jack-baddams-protect-birds-comment/ Our gardens are not natural, many of the birds that use them are dependent on us.  Most of us feed the birds, including myself, do it for our own pleasure rather than in a belief that we are reversing the damage done to nature by humans over recent centuries.
    • Thanks @Sue I had no idea what they delivered. Personally I just dont get why anyone living in London would bother with something like this, We can all pop down the road and buy bread, pastries etc and know what we're getting.. Just seems a bit of a yuppie fad and waste of money. But thats just my opinion!
