To achieve high grades in GCSE English Language and Literature, students need to learn to read actively, spotting nuances and implied meaning in a wide range of texts. They must also learn how to craft their writing, consciously selecting the right tools to write for different target audiences. For optimum success at GCSE, these skills need to be in place by the end of Year 9. I can help your child to develop them and use them with confidence.
