With a week to go why be so concerned?

If it's open knowledge that you've been screwed on all the commitment you've shown I don't think there's much that could be held against you.

Has your contract been terminated or is it due to expire? Guess the only thing you need worry about is a reference but if you're so hacked off with them, would you want one from them?

When I first saw the subject, I thought "why would anyone not want to be seen to" then the gutter flooded and I realised you might be a respectable lady.

Having other offices across London to meet colleagues/clients at is always a good one to use. Who knows how long your chosen mode of transport might be delayed. Of course you won't use cabs in deference to cost cutting conscientiousness.

    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
    • This petition to reduce the noise of fireworks is currently going through Parliament https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/738192
    • Have you complained to the solicitor directly and did they respond within the 8 weeks they have under their code of conduct - I presume they have and this is why you have escalated further to the SRA? If he doesn't respond in a timely fashion per the SRA code of conduct then I am sure they will need to take action.
