Email notification of a new post in a thread

It's great to be able to follow threads and be told when there's a new post, but not so great to be away from the computer for a while and come back to an inbox jammed with emails all relating to new posts in the same thread!

Other forums I'm in will email you once when there's a new post in a thread, but then don't send any more emails until you've actually visited the thread again.

Would it be technically possible to do that in this forum?

Unfortunately that's not possible with this version of the forum software, but if it becomes available in the future we will implement it.
