Wanted! Technical support for iMac and MacBook

Hi

We're a largely Apple household and are having technical problems:

- iMac and Hotmail appear to have become incompatible?

- MacBook is not recognising it's hard disk (which was replaced recently)

Any helpful gurus out there?
