Unfinished road changes on Holly Grove/Bellenden Rd?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the mess that has become of Holly Grove where it turns into Bellenden Road, outside Ganapati? Following the recent consultation I know it was decided not to change the one-way system but they have been widening the pavements and although that looks quite good, they have been finished terribly with the paved slabs having horrible lumps of Tarmac at the end - hard to describe but it looks a total mess! Also there are no road markings so there are now always cars parked on the now narrower road which seems to cause issues when the two lanes of traffic come round the corner into Holly Grove. I'm hoping it is still a work in progress and will be properly finished but it's been like this for weeks now with no change - anyone else spotted this or know what is happening? Thanks

As far as I can see it's a work in progress .

Road works in lyndhurst Way still on going ,construction vehicles in Highshore next to Harris Academy playground etc

I think the "lumps of tarmac" are just temporary ramps for wheelchair access and will be removed when the job's completed.

It's pushed the parked cars right into the path of vehicles turning left from Lyndhurst Grove. Nearly caught be out while riding past the other night when I was confronted with a dark car jutting out right on the corner.

yes I was surprised as to how much the parked cars now stick out

That car will be clipped by a truck before long
