Recommendation for all-round builder and roofer

I would like to highly recommend Alvin from Rhodes Watkins. After being a victim of a cowboy builder and further being let down by subsequent builders, I was quickly loosing faith.

And then by luck came Alvin. Many builders are not so willing to take on botched projects but Alvin organised his team to help me out and made me feel like things were possible again. He has been in the building trade for years, loves his job and takes pride in the work he does. He insisted that I go and have a look at some of the projects that he was working on to reassure me. His number is 079 5651 7802

If you are looking for a roofer, then I can also recommend Arnie from DE Bennet. Loads of experience. Straight talking. No fuss. I met Alvin through him too. Arnie is on 079 8531 7054

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
