gnulover
Hi, I am looking for someone fun, calm and flexible to help take care of my two cheeky boys, Max (10) and Ben (8). Start date flexible but ideally 22 October and I would like you to commit to at least a year with us. Duties would include help getting the children up (7am), washed, dressed and fed then taking them to school (10 mins walk/bike ride) during term time. During the summer holidays I would need some help as they will be with their dad half the time and with me the rest but I work from home so would need you to take them out to the park and entertain them when I have them. During term time you would be free from about 09.15 when you could attend a language course if you wanted to but would need to be on hand if they were sick and were unable to attend school. I would also need you to pick them up from school on a Friday (15.30) and look after them till approx 17.30. No daytime weekend help required. Other duties would include ironing (approx 1 hr per week), keeping the children?s bedroom clean and tidy, putting their clothes away, and changing their bedsheets and general help around the house keeping it tidy (we have a cleaner). I would also require 2-3 week nights babysitting per week and one weekend every now and again (I am a single mum so the boys stay with their dad every other weekend). I have a lovely home near Dulwich hospital, the school is a 10 min stroll away and the train station is 7 mins walk (zone 2). You do not need to drive but need to have good English and a patient manner but be able to be firm with the boys. Non smoker preferred. You will have your own loft room complete with double bed, sofa, coffee table, wifi and tv and your own shower room (unless we have guests staying which is very rare!). You will also receive 4 weeks paid holiday a year which I would like you to take when we take ours where possible. Please PM me for salary details. If you are interested in this position and would like to know more I look forward to hearing from you. References will be required, experience in looking after children is essential and ideally you will already be based in London or nearby and be available to interview in person.
