Hi all,

Am wanting to buy a second buggy to keep in the boot of the car / take on holiday / occasional use on public transport.

I am after a buggy that folds easily and quite small, reclines (so that my daughter could snooze in it whilst out) and doesn't have wide wheels so could be used on the buses occasionally. Doesn't need to lie flat as she is now 6 months.

I fancied the Microlite superlite but having looked at one in Soup Dragon today although they are light and fold quite small, the front wheels are wide so would cause difficulty using public transport.

Any suggestions?

I've got a Zapp, which does fold very small and is great for the car. But it doesn't recline at all, which for my 1st always resulted in my wheeling around for 20 minutes on the back wheels only!

I'm looking at the OBaby Atlas (I think) for number 2 - its a bit like a maclaren, reclines fully, but about ?60 instead of ?150. Nice patterns too ;). Kiddicare have a good range of colours - or Mothercare/JL if you want to check one out in the flesh.

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
