Hi all,

Is anyone else having problems with loud music being played around the Whateley Rd/Crystal Palace Rd area? It's been occurring most Saturday nights for quite a few weeks now and happened last night (Wednesday 12th). It normally starts around 12am and continues until 3-4am. No idea where exactly it's coming from but it's becoming very disruptive!

Thanks

One of the big houses (ground Floor Flat) oposite The Great Exhibition C.P. Road. has Loud music on Saturday nights.

Backs on to my place. Fortunately I sleep at the front so cannot really hear it. Loud music and Strobe lights

with patio doors open on to garden. Goes on till very late/early morning

Suggest you phone Southwark Noise Control (via the council). If this still exists, that is, as I think they changed the hours when they operate.

Also keep a record of when the noise is happening and for how long.

    • But a larger number, in a more hotly contested election, didn't. It is an anomaly that Starmer won a landslide in seats with a turnout for Labour which would have shamed Labour leaders in all the 21st and much of the post war 20th century.

    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
