Not sure if my thanks will get there but worth a try - very grateful to everyone who rallied round when I was ill in my car .

Bus driver who pulled up,lovely sensible ladies who got off bus to help ,male passerby who was dragooned in to move my car ( twice ! ) ,kind kind man who was offering to take me in to his home ,those who phoned for ambulance and waited with me .

You're all stars .

My thanks ( and true British mortification ) know no bounds .
