My son is starting at St John's and St Clements in September - I work 3 days per week and am currently trying to sort out after school care. Just wondering if any other St John's parents who work part time are having the same problem and would possibly be interested in trying to share after school care if we work different days? (I do Mon, Tues and Thurs currently).

Please do get in touch if this sounds like it might suit.

    • I don't think you'd be a busybody, gently telling them that you'd noticed that they put their rubbish in bags and the collection team can refuse to empty the bin for this reason. If you have a good enough relationship where you can ask to put your rubbish in their bin, surely you can mention that you had noticed?
    • You don't want to hopefully politely explain not to use a black bag in the recycling for fear of seeming a busybody yet are quite happy to snoop inside their bin? 😂🤣😂
    • I wish the guide mentioned that recycling should be loose inside the blue bin. My next door neighbour bags it in a black bin bag and id feel like too much of a busybody to tell them that’s not right.    (I know as I put some extra recycling in their bin once, and have checked a few times since to see if it was a one off)
    • Great value and surprised neither went.  Maybe time of year when people aren't feeling very active. Or perhaps people are too posh round here nowadays to buy second hand, even when 'as new'.
