If you can work out what a Ruby Rose represents on the human body then you are in with a chance of winning one of many prizes at tonight's Thursday quiz at the Plough.

This friendly general knowledge and picture quiz is only ?1.50 per person to enter and there's a chance to win cash or a lovely bottle of house wine if you come second-to-last. There's bonus drinks, sweets and cookies to win too. It's an 8 for 8.30pm start in the left-hand-side bar as you walk into the front of the pub.   Admin, please move this if it's in the wrong section. Can anybody recommend a reasonably local dietician (or possibly nutritionist? Not sure what the difference is). My GP has suggested I see a dietician, but there isn't one attached to the practice. I have googled, but it's very hard to tell what people may be like from an online description, and I want somebody who is properly qualified. Alternatively, please PM me if you know of people I should avoid! Thanks x

  I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here

  Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road.   Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
