Pub with room for 60+ 5th Nov lunch

I've been planning a charity lunch event with a local pub for Sat 5th Nov. Its a pretty casual affair - lunch with a quiz, raffle and singer just doing a little acoustic guitar set in their upstairs room but I think I need to find a new venue as the pub I am working with are being pretty rubbish about finalising details and I'm concerned they are going to let me down.

I have about 65 people want to come to the event already and numbers are increasing every day, hence me having to sell tickets for it as soon as I can get a menu finalised from the venue.

I basically need a pub in the East Dulwich/Brixton/Peckham/Camberwell type areas with a separate room that will seat at least 60, preferably a few more, and is happy to provide a lunch for a fixed price - something fairly simple and pub like with at least a vegetarian option, and can help me with a mic and stand for the quiz host and singer. Needs to be LGBT friendly also. At the moment the event is planned for 1pm onwards.

Any ideas anyone??? Nice little earner for the pub potentially.

Yes I agree with MsDulwich (roots and shoots). ...great venue lovely organic own grown produce and staff A class...

when I went the chef came out after every course and spoke about the dish...

They also have social dining events, my friend went to one she said she met really nice interesting people...

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
