Yeah but I'm on Wood Vale so may be different incident. Went off about 10.30. EDF are digging further along the road. A neighbour who went out to ask was told that a cable went bang, they have to replace and it will be at least 2 hours. I have retired to bed with candles and phone... after remembering for a change to turn off the lights etc that were on so that I don't get woken up when it does come back on

I spoke to someone this morning who said they'd found the fault, but it was underground so they didn't know how long it would take to fix.

Walking to work later, there were indeed some chaps from the leccy getting ready to do a spot of digging on Landells. I hope they've got it sorted by the time I get home!

    • Hi- just wanted to say that Clare did  has been working with us on quite a big replanting design in our garden in Peckham. We spoke to a couple of garden designers about the planting plan before going ahead with Clare . I felt she understood exactly what I wanted (even  if I couldn't fully articulate it- I am still very much learning), and was happy to work in stages on our large garden- which has allowed me to learn how to manage the garden as go along. Her designs are beautiful and she's kept an ongoing and up to date  list of  plants as we've sourced them from various places. Clare planted  a lot over the spring- and the garden is already looking brilliant. Totally transformed from a few months ago. I would really recommend her !
    • Hey, really sorry to hear you are going through this. Do you live alone? Could you get a family member or friend to move in for a while and see if that changes the dynamic.
    • My reply was helpful, hopefully. Someone else found the same advice helpful previously too.
    • That heron is a fearsome predator. Are there any babies left?
