I have a number of these, about 25 for sale. They are brush steel, brass plate, swivel head lights that would have been on the wall, they could also be changed into table lamps, wall lights with plugs etc. The lights are second hand so like with all second hand electrical items, treat them as spare or repair until they have been checked by an electrician. I have sold a few of these without problems. See photo for the full description. They all measure the same, approximately 12.5 cm base x 15.5 cm when the head of the fitting is upright. They are in good condition with some signs of use. ?7 each.

      Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.

      Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

      Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
