Large bundle of gorgeous vintage table cloths

52 vintage table cloths which I gathered for my own wedding over the course of a year. We had a vintage/summer fete feel and they were perfect.

Many are handmade, with embroidery and some with beautiful cross stitch. Almost all are high quality cotton. A few are polyester. We used some for the dining tables, some for the tables where the bar was set up, and others where food was served.

I've since laundered them all so they are ready to go. The vast majority are in excellent condition. A small number have small stains or repairs, commensurate with age and overall style. I have already edited out the ones I wouldn't have wanted on my wedding day.

They looked beautiful on the day, alongside bunting and natural flower arrangements.

I have photographed all of them and can provide more photos.

The specifics are:

Small square (c.80*80cm), embroidered:

21

Small square, not embroidered: 5

Medium square (100*100 to 140*140cm), embroidered: 6

Medium square, not embroidered: 10

Round, medium (c120cm diameter), mixed colours: 4

Medium rectangles, white and patterned: 4

Large white linen rectangles (2*3m): 2

    • I'm interested to know other people's experiences. As in any urban environment, I'm careful. I try not to use my phone outside  unnecessarily, and if I'm coming home by myself  late at night I also keep an eye out for any potential threats. But that doesn't mean  I "don't feel safe". It's just sensible. The only time I have ever felt seriously unsafe in London was decades ago  when I was a teenager, and that was one specific incident which could have happened anywhere. I do however try to avoid places with loads of right wing thugs getting drunk and waving flags.
