I have a magi mix which i m very proud of!!

Unfortunately the other day it had an accident. friend of mine has opened it (it s out of warranty)and he says it might well be that capacitor.

It s a fine machine and don t wanna buy a new cheaper one but don t wanna spend that amount of money for a new one

My friend says it should be easy and cheap to fix for someone that does this kind of jobs but who??

Do You know someone that can help with this pls?

Good luck!

Hope you get it sorted. I'm considering buying one for myself for Christmas ......

Magimix themselves also have an online form to contact customer services:

Thanx Sue!

I just called them through your link. they are very nice and professional

They are sending a courier to pick my machine up on monday. A technician will see it and let me know what needs to be done and how much it will cost me. Final decision is mine and the whole posting back and forwards costs me ?25...

:) see what happens, thanx a lot

You're welcome.

That's very useful to know they have such good customer service, makes me more inclined to shell out the enormous amounts of dosh to buy one.

And their guarantees are really good as well (motor guaranteed for 30 years I think, but it's unlikely I'll still be around then, lol).

    • Gosh, that all sounds so familiar!  Southwark are constantly holding up their Outdoor Events Policy as proof of process, but then constantly allow exceptions when things aren't quite done correctly. Point in case, Gala's licence application - extract from the Consultation Findings Report - "The GALA team formally submitted their application to hold GALA 2025 to the council on the 7 October 2024. It is usually a requirement that applications for larger scale events are submitted with a minimum of 9 months to process them, but discretion can be applied if there are mitigating circumstances. 8.4 of the Outdoor Events Policy clarifies that processing applications received outside the stated lead-in times is at the Council's discretion. In this case: • The council were aware that Assembled Gala were preparing an application for the event to take place in 2025 in advance of their submission date, with operational discussions already taking place • GALA festival has been taking place in Peckham Rye Park since 2018 – less time is needed regarding event planning than if it were a new event • The GALA team already have a Premises Licence in place for this event (this is a pre- requisite for the Event Licence to be issued), so no time needed to be factored in for a premises licence application and decision-making process"
