Can anyone recommend a MacBook technician to recover a hard drive?

I spilt water on my MacBook Air (yes, I know, tradegy) and it's dead. Have taken it to Applease store and they said that a recovery specialist person *might* be able to recover hard drive files, depends on how damaged they areally. I would like someone to have a look and give me a honest opinion and not rip me off when quoting for recovery!! Any recommendations?
