Nanny wanted to start immediately - 20 hours/week

My gorgeous twin boys are nearly 14 months now, and since they were 7 weeks old I have had help for 4 hours every week day between 3.15pm and 7.15pm (20 hours/week). Sadly due to personal reasons, our current nanny has suddenly had to leave us. I am therefore looking for a replacement, who would be able to shadow me for a few weeks and get to know the boys and their routine before being left in sole charge. In fact, I am usually at home when our current nanny is here, but would like you to feel comfortable looking after the boys on their own.

I am looking for someone with relevant qualifications and experience with references. Ideally, you will have experience with twins, but this is not essential. I am looking for a warm, fun, calm and punctual person, who will love and help develop the boys. You will also be comfortable cooking for the boys and tidying up. Our previous nanny was flexible and worked additional hours in the day or evenings if we requested, and we would hope that you will also have flexibility to babysit and work extra hours on occasion.

The role is 20 hours/week, ideally to be worked around the same times as the previous nanny, but I do have flexibility with this, so please do get in touch if you are interested but have concerns about that particular aspect.

Please PM me if you are interested.

    • Shops in stations are catering for people in a hurry who want/need to buy things they haven't had the forethought/time/inclination to buy before they got to the station. Therefore the shops have a captive market,  and I imagine can charge whatever they think said captive market will pay, at least for things which don't have a set price marked on them, like magazines. It is also possible that their overheads like rent are greater in a station, though I have absolutely no idea about that. I'm a bit surprised if M&S are charging more in stations though? I bought a filled baguette at the small M&S upstairs at  London Bridge on Sunday because I didn't have time for breakfast, and it didn't seem any more expensive than I have previously paid at M&S food stores  elsewhere?

    • No Flies are often recommended on here. I have never used them and have no connection with them, but going by the glowing recommendations they would be my first port of call if I was thinking of selling. To the best of my knowledge they are an independent estate agent and not part of a chain. https://no-flies.co.uk/
